Adam Runsdorf created WDPrx – Woodfield Pharmaceutical, LLC in 2014 after the purchase of Pernix Manufacturing, formerly Great Southern Labs, which had been operating for 30 years.
Adam is responsible for ensuring that WDPrx fulfills its mission as a reliable CMO partner specializing in oral solutions, liquid solutions, suspensions and semi-solids focusing on attention to detail, customization and innovative problem-solving.
Runsdorf is a 25-year veteran of the pharmaceutical sector. Previous to WDPrx, Adam held executive sales and operations positions with national generic pharmaceuticals manufacturers. In 2010 he founded WDPrx – Woodfield Distribution, LLC, a third-party logistics provider specializing in the life sciences industry with headquarters in Boca Raton, FL.
Adam currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Specialty Pharma Association and also on the Government Affairs Committee of the Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA). He is President of the national Alpha Epsilon Pi Foundation, Inc., providing leadership development and financial support for the AEPi international fraternity organization Adam resides in Boca Raton, FL with his wife and two children.
Director of Technical Operations
Romeo Crisologo is WDPrx Director of Technical Operations overseeing Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Regulatory Affairs with additional involvement in Research and Development activities.
A graduate of Mindanao State University in the Philippines, Romeo plays a key role at WDPrx. He began his career in 2004 as a chemist at Great Southern Labs, a manufacturer later absorbed by WDPrx. He also served as Director of Quality at Pernix Therapeutics which was also consolidated into current WDPrx operations.
Romeo enjoys exotic experiences and world travel and recently returned from a Mexico vacation that included a camel-ride caravan on a deserted beach. Always finding the perfect blend of ingredients at work and at home, Romeo is an accomplished photographer who captures compelling images with a creative eye. He exercises regularly by jogging and playing volleyball near his home in Houston.
Director of Operations and Materials Management
Willis Reed is the WDPrx Director of Operations and Materials Management with authority over Manufacturing, Packaging and Labeling, Facilities and Equipment, Procurement and Logistics.
Prior to his current role which began in 2014, Willis spent 14 years with Great Southern Labs and transitioned with the company when it was integrated into WDPrx operations. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS.
A physical fitness enthusiast, Willis enjoys basketball and occasionally hauling in a big catch from his secret fishing hole surrounding his Houston home.
Research and Development Manager
Kalpen Patel is the Research and Development Manager at WDPrx responsible for Formulation Development, Optimization, Validation and related pharmaceutical development areas.
An integral member of the team since 2011, Kalpen is a pharmaceutical industry veteran with previous experience gained in several product development roles while working at Aurobindo Pharma.
Kalpen earned his degree in Modern Drug Development and Industrial Pharmacy from L.M. College of Pharmacy in Ahmedabad, India.
He enjoys participating in several sports including volleyball and cricket, when he can find a pick-up game near his home in the Houston suburbs.
Director of Business Development
Angela Holley is Director of Business Development at WDPrx – Woodfield Pharmaceutical, LLC.
Angela’s career is marked with high levels of achievement and success in multiple disciplines within the branded and generic pharmaceutical industry.
Her expertise includes sales, marketing, business development and administration for brick-and-mortar and virtual manufacturers. From start-ups to Big Pharma, Holley is familiar with the marketing cycles of everything from standard cough and cold remedies to specialty pharmaceutical products and orphan drugs.
A native of Birmingham, AL Angela and her husband test the limits of their SUV traveling around the country to support their daughter and her Choir team.
